The floral details on Albert Bridge in London were the inspiration behind the Thames collection. I love to bring together nature and urban architecture in a geometric style. It's a beautiful bridge and it probably looks familiar as it has starred in many movies.
I designed the cufflinks in CAD and due to the nature of the design, they cannot be cast, so each pair of cufflinks are 3D printed and cast in sterling silver. I chose two 4mm Lab Created Sapphires for the center stones. Sapphire is the birthstone for September and is associated with wisdom, inner peace and enlightenment.
Albert Bridge in London connects Chelsea to Battersea over the River Thames. It was named after Prince Albert, Queen Victoria's beloved husband and opened in 1873, 9 years late and over budget. To me, it's one of the most beautiful bridges in London. You can read more about it in my blog.
Dimensions: The cufflinks are 21mm in diameter and are attached to sterling silver cufflink mechanisms.
