American Craft Show, San Francisco 2017

The weekend before last I went to San Francisco to see a very good friend of mine. I made sure to coincide it with the American Craft Council fair (American Craft Show) which was running on the same weekend, in the Fort Mason Arts Center.
Luckily for me my friend lives 10 minutes walk away.
Here are some photos of the show.

It was wonderful to see all the different artisans there, each with their own individual style. There were a lot of jewelers there, maybe half were jewelers, which probably means their jury process is quite strict.
I'm considering applying to some for next year.

I picked up a couple of pieces, this plant or tea light holder made from a walnut tree by West Coast Walnut and these ring bowls by Tiny Badger Ceramics

On Friday evenings Fort Mason holds a food truck market called Off The Grid, so much to choose from and all delicious! I chose the lechon and my friend had the Japanese fried chicken. Then we got a mango flower doused in lime, salt and chili for dessert, followed by a croissant donut. Yummy!!

We decided to go for a walk afterwards as the sun was setting and we needed to burn off some of those calories.

So happy to be here this weekend and spend quality time with my friend!
